HSSE&SP Principles

YABANI is a people-oriented company and puts prevention first in all operations.  We will protect employees, contractors, visitors and surroundings on YABANI controlled workplaces from operational hazards to ensure no harm to people and the environment.  We will strive for continuous performance improvement based on chronic unease and preoccupation on the potential human and environmental impact of any failure.  We will take effective measures to prevent any HSSE&SP incidents from happening and / or mitigate consequences below acceptable level using as low as reasonably practicable principles. We will set targets for improvement and will measure, appraise and report performance appropriately.  We will coordinate with customers and engage effectively with neighbours and impacted communities. We encourage a healthy workforce and promote a work-life balance, and will secure worksites, protect employees and safeguard company, customer and visitor assets.

 

HSSE&SP Commitment

YABANI will ensure compliance with laws and regulations in the regions we are working and respect local customs and habits. We will protect the environment, saving energy and promoting cleaner production, committing ourselves to sustainable development. Respect neighbours and contributing to societies in which we operate.  We will publically report HSSE&SP performance and maintain consistent values.  We will adhere to the YABANI 12 Life Saving Rules, ensuring every YABANI employee HSSE&SP performance is part of their individual appraisal and assessment. Establish and maintain a HSSE&SP culture, carrying out training for all employees and promoting a culture in which all YABANI employees understand and share commitment.

 

HSSE&SP Policy Statement

YABANI will maintain a healthy workplace, ensuring no person gets injured, safeguarding people and assets, protecting surroundings and being a good neighbour.

In all operations, business activities and community participation, YABANI will concentrate on identifying hazards, mitigating risk and continually improving.

 

HSSE&SP Objectives

Zero work-related fatal incidents (employees or contractors) at all YABANI operations.  No other work –related significant incidents impacting employees, contractors, visitors or the environment at YABANI work controlled operations.
